George W. Abrahamson began his career in the fields of engineering and surveying in 1973 as an engineering draftsman and subsequently as an engineering technician during and after which time his father, R.T. Abrahamson, P.E., R.P.L.S. personally educated and trained him to perform engineering, planning and surveying work for the company business of Abrahamson & Associates, Registered by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Licensed by the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying pursuant to State of Texas laws and regulations . George implements the exacting measures his father with his over 55 years of engineering licensure brought forward and he reinforces those values through his continuing execution of professional engineering and surveying practices in the day-to-day activities that have consistently and successfully brought Abrahamson & Associates to the pinnacle of respected accomplishment.

George graduated at Amarillo College upon earning his Associate in Science Degree following his study in engineering and surveying. He was elected Outstanding Major in his field of Engineering Technology by the Faculty and Administration of Amarillo College on the basis of his academic standing, growth while at Amarillo College, work within the department and potential contribution to his major area. George graduated at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas upon earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Degree while advancing his learning through his continued enrollment in civil engineering design courses beyond those required for his graduation. He maintains rewarding professional associations with his former professors and faculty.

George successfully completed the engineering fundamentals and ethics examinations within the professional engineering licensing process developed and administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). His engineering license application summarizes the broad cross section of his 46 years of significant engineering and surveying accomplishments as attested by 14 licensed professional engineers and four legal counsel references with respect to his 74 full, typed pages of supplementary experience records on file with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in Austin, Texas. George passed a written NCEES Professional Engineering Examination on April 5, 2019 in Texas and was licensed May 13, 2019 to practice professional engineering in Texas pursuant to the Texas Engineering Practice Act found under the Occupation Code Title 6, Chapter $1001. Engineer (Texas Revised Civil Statutes, Article 3271a). George actively continues his pursuit of a Texas Professional Surveyor License.

George conducts civil/structural engineering and engineering survey projects on a regular basis as he leads and directs investigations, research, analyses and production of thorough engineering reports, project design and construction drawings. His professional opinions offered through his testimonies rendered through civil litigation as a forensic engineering expert, qualified as such through Daubert / Robinson-Daubert challenges, have assisted his clients with consistently successful outcomes that include his prevailing engineering arguments with his former Texas Tech University licensed engineering professors as well as licensed professional engineers throughout the State who have provided their expert witness testimonies at the request of opposing counsel.

George continues to assist his clients by way of professional, credible engineering investigations that regularly yield commendable results.
